About the event
“出柜”往往不只是一个瞬间，而是一段关系的过程。这场普通话出柜恳亲会，邀请 10 位华语同志父母，分享他们从最初的震惊、否认、担忧，到学习理解、重新沟通、逐步支持的真实历程。
活动面向 LGBTQ+ 华人群体及其父母、家人。你可以带父母一同参加，也可以自己来；父母亦可单独报名。我们希望提供一个安全、尊重、不过度标签化的公共空间，让不同世代在真实故事中彼此理解，而不是彼此对立。
本次活动以普通话为主，采取分享 + 交流问答形式。场地位于 Newtown 与 St Peters 火车站之间的 LGBTQ+ 友好商家 852 Hong Kong Restaurant。场地为公共空间，最低消费 $12/人。
Coming out is rarely a single moment — it is an ongoing relational process. This Mandarin-speaking workshop brings together 10 LGBTQ+ Chinese parents to share their lived experiences: from shock, fear and resistance, to learning, communication and eventual support.
The event is open to LGBTQ+ Chinese individuals and their parents or family members. You may attend together or separately. Parents are equally welcome to join on their own. The aim is to create a safe, respectful space where intergenerational dialogue can happen through real stories rather than confrontation.
