About the event
Rainbow Duanwu is a small-group creative wellbeing workshop for Chinese-speaking and Chinese-diaspora LGBTQIA+ communities, allies and friends.
Held during Pride Month and around Duanwu / Dragon Boat Festival season, this workshop invites participants to explore themes of belonging, cultural memory, resilience and chosen family through gentle reflective writing, art-making and group sharing.
The workshop will be bilingual, mainly in Mandarin and English. Participants do not need any writing or art experience. All materials will be provided.
This is a quiet, supportive and community-centred space. The workshop is designed for reflection and creative expression, not clinical treatment or counselling.
